28 FLOOD/FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS
What a wild day yesterday! That makes two Thursday’s in a row. First the tornado outbreak a week ago and now the flooding outbreak of yesterday. Several bullseyes of 4-6” throughout the area created dangerous, life threatening flash flooding in many areas. Numerous other areas reported extensive wind damage from severe thunderstorms and at least one area, according to damage reports and pictures, may have had a tornado touch down.

11:28 PM ET 8/27/26: A few areas of flash flooding are expected to continue for portions of the northern Mid-Atlantic region into the Northeast for the next couple of hours. Weakening is expected after 2:00 AM EDT, which should end the flash flood threat for most, if not all, locations.
11:14 PM ET 8/27/26: Flood Warning until 5:00 AM EDT for Dauphin, Lancaster, and Lebanon counties in south central Pennsylvania. Excessive rainfall is causing flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and low-lying flood-prone areas, with 2 to 5 inches already reported. Flooding is imminent or occurring.
